About Verve Health & Fitness
Michael Lin, named as a top trainer promotes full-body conditioning through functional movements at CrossFit Rosslyn, an addendum to Verve Health & Fitness. For nearly two decades, Verve has helped everyday people with joint problems and injuries. Lin developed his passion for fitness while growing up as the descendent of a long line of doctors in Yilan, Taiwan. Now, as part of a staff of more than a dozen trainers, he designs exercise routines that take place in the facility's open weight room. During classes, visitors leap into high-intensity routines that challenge participants with intuitive maneuvers such as pushing, running, jumping, and throwing. Arms swing kettlebells to kindle muscular burns, while medicine balls bounce and dangling ropes tempt climbers to scale their way to the top. The constantly shifting workouts blend elements of gymnastics with calisthenics and Olympic weightlifting, crafting each maneuver so that patrons can adapt it to suit their strength level. Classes also invent friendly competitions, tracking time, points, and the number of grip errors in barbell-twirling performances.
