We took out 11 yo, hard to please, Great-niece for her birthday and she had so much fun. We saw lots of sea life and birds. Blaine was very knowledgeable sharing interesting Seattle history, fun facts about sea life, finding Sea Stars, and identifying birds. We enjoyed the tour very much and felt like we would do this again and highly recommend this company.. Going through the locks was amazing, we've only seen the locks from up top. We had the good luck of going at low tide, allowing us the opportunity to see more of the locks. We are inexperienced Kayak-ers and this didn't hamper our fun! The kayaks and our guide are excellent.

From Shilshole Bay to Discovery Point, you'll follow an ancient water route used by Seattle's earliest inhabitants. Once we've crossed the bay, you can hop out of your boat and explore Discovery Bluff, one of Seattle's most magnificent vantages of the Olympic Mountains and beautiful Mt. Rainier. Back down at the massive driftwood-strewn beach, we will enjoy a lunch (provided). Then we'll be off, back to Shilshole Marina to part ways until our next adventure. -Meet at our docks in Shilshole Marina 20 minutes prior to tour departure -Family friendly -Beginner paddlers welcome -Lunch provided What to bring: Warm clothes, preferably non-cotton Water-appropriate shoes A water-proof, wind-proof layer Water bottle Sunglasses and/or a sun hat Please note that if your booking is for an odd number of people, the odd person might be paired up with a new friend or guide in a tandem kayak.
