My husband and I went on the Blue Ridge Food Tour this afternoon. Literally the best food tour we’ve been on and we’ve been on many. I think we went to 7 different places and had drinks and/or food at every stop. The store & restaurant owners were welcoming. These were all great locations that I’d love to visit again. Mya (leader/co-owner) provides so much historical information, is a wealth of knowledge, and is such a joy to be around. This was a walking tour that you don’t want to miss.

This package includes food tastings and non-alcoholic beverages. Mya was so informative! I had not realized that there was so much history surrounding North Wilkesboro. From bootlegging, bottling Coke etc., to the start of Lowe's, to the railroad impact. And the FOOD! I strongly suggest pacing yourself (we needed up bring food back to our car). We enjoyed a wide variety of selections and all very good. We will be back for more!

The town is very quaint and is warm to people, with a lot of interesting history. Recommended for those who like to know the history of a town and enjoy southern hospitality.
