My family and I went on a ghost tour and had a very positive experience. Courtney was our guide, and she demonstrated deep knowledge, engaging storytelling, and a clear respect for both the history and the guests. Our group included a few skeptics, and Courtney encouraged them to keep an open mind while honoring different perspectives. Unfortunately, the group also included two adults- I use the term loosely- who were under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Courtney managed the situation with steady professionalism, set clear boundaries, and kept the tour moving so others could enjoy the experience. As the evening progressed, it became clear that these adults intended to drive with two children. At that point, we asked Courtney to contact the police, and she handled the situation calmly and appropriately. It truly felt like divine intervention that they were placed in our group and that Courtney was our guide. Her judgment and leadership may have prevented a very serious outcome. Because of her actions, my family felt safe and supported. I highly recommend this tour and commend Courtney for her professionalism and care.

It was worth taking our family on the ghost walk. I'm not aware that anyone found any spirits, but I felt like I learned a lot from our guide - and I appreciated his sincere interest in the subject. He seemed very knowledgeable about the town and the subject of ghost hunting. I'm not quite as skeptical as I was before, and I would consider doing it again.

It’s historical and interactive. You get equipment to participate in the activity!! Austin is a fantastic guide and extremely knowledgeable. Best ghost we’ve done!

Where do I begin? I hate giving a bad review to a local business but I am struggling to find many good things to say about this tour. The tour started with a very long explanation of electronic boxes we were given to carry throughout the tour. These “spirit boxes” were going to be used to channel the spirits of long gone miners and other ghosts of previous Jerome residents and allow us to communicate with them. Then we headed out and spent the next 45 minutes in a parking lot, in front of a church and in a vacant room in the Ghost Tour building. At each location, we wandered around asking questions out loud in an attempt to communicate with the long departed spirits of Jerome. Our daughter thought she heard someone say “yep” when she asked if the spirits wanted us to leave. 😳 Other than that, we heard nothing but static from our individual “spirit boxes.” The one positive we did get out of the tour was a thorough depiction of Jerome’s sordid history of mistreated and maligned miners, bordellos, fires, arsenic poisoning, opium dens and rich men getting richer on the backs of hardworking laborers. I would skip this tour and take the historical tour instead. I think you would get the same historical tale and perspective without wandering around gravel parking lots and empty apartments talking to . . . well, nobody! Sadly, I can’t get that hour of my life back!
