Had an absolute blast kayaking around Kailua Bay. Swam alongside some turtles and saw lots of fish! Went out to the bird sanctuary and then went over to Moko Nui. The waves at Moko Nui are no joke! Be careful and take your time getting to shore, I went in with a little too much confidence and totally wiped out and lost my shorts! 😬 But I also am a very beginner kayaker so if you’re more experienced I’m sure it’ll be easy for you! Snorkeling in the area was kinda meh but still worth bringing or borrowing some gear for. Would recommend nearby Lainikai Beach for the real snorkeling experience.
