An absolutely wonderfully spooky experience both nights! “Lopaka Kapanui is Hawai’i.” I heard that multiple times from different travel agents and guides while I was touring Oahu. With well over a quarter of a century of experience in the paranormal and multiple publications easily available at the state library,, the culmination of my understanding came to a fullness on the night, we did the Waikiki night marchers tour. Astute and effective in delivery was capped off at the end with the question: “… Who has a dog? Large dog; full curl tail, some kind of a collie breed mix. It’s been circling us tonight.” Earlier that evening, at the beginning of the tour, we were taken to a Grove of trees and asked to invoke protection and support from our loved ones who had passed on. My mother passed away October 22, 2024. Five months later, February 27, 2025 my father passed away. After I got back to the hotel room, I decided to send our guide a photograph. I had scanned for my mother of a dog. I grew up with. When Kapanui saw the Image his response was: “That’s the one.” Mysteries of Hawai’i is the only ‘ghost tour’ worth attending. Be prepared for an unforgettable experience that just might haunt you long after you return to the mainland… or wherever you lay your head. Pleasant Dreams.
