One of the better ghost tours I've been on. Our guide was entertaining and told several good stories. And with it being near Halloween, the town's decorations added to the fun. The one issue was that my friend bought a coffee to enjoy on the walk but guide said it wasn't allowed due to insurance reasons so my friend had to toss it.

Our walking tour is something the entire family will enjoy. You'll be entertained as a guide leads you through downtown Manteo telling you the spooky tales that make the Outer Banks one of the most haunted beaches in the United States. Some of the stories you'll hear include; the Lost Colony, Blackbeard, the Cora Tree, and much more. Our tour also offers guests the chance to use an EMF detector. EMF detectors are commonly used on paranormal investigating television shows. You'll have the time of your afterlife at OBX Ghost Tours.

Very entertaining. I expected more stories of ghosts in certain buildings, and it was less of that and more mysterious history

A fun evening with cool stories and an enthusiastic and knowledgeable host. We had known about some of the tales, but the Cora tree was our favorite.

Family friendly and absolutely wonderful time. Our guide Lara was great and informative while adding her own stories. Definitely an eerie experience 🎃

Julia was phenomenal as our tour guide. It was nice to have a guide that is a local and knows the history of the area. Didn’t have any encounters, but it was still cool to hear the stories! Shamus was a nice bonus to the tour as well!
