Fun, interesting, informative…..great shared experience. Jordan our instructor was safety conscious but made sure we enjoyed ourselves.
The Melting Point is a new, state-of-the-art facility featuring a fine art gallery, a lamp working studio and fully equipped hotshop. We eat, sleep, and breath glass, and it's our delight to share this passion with the community. Our staff is as diverse as the beautiful Sedona desert landscape. Coming from a broad range of educational backgrounds, our glassblowers can tell you everything you would ever want to know about the science and art of glass.

- All glass products must anneal overnight. Pickup arrangements of guests' projects should be made for the following day.

This was a great idea for our trip to Arizona, souvenirs that you actually play a part in making are some of the best. The memory and story behind one of these pieces of art you make yourself is amazing, and actually being apart of the work behind glass making really let's you appreciate the art more.

If you are going to be in Sedona or surrounding area and would like to experience a fun activity, check The Melting Point website and sign up for a bead making, glassblowing or stained glass class. I have taken both a bead making and glassblowing class and both were amazingly fun.

One of the most fun classes I’ve ever done! Jordan was an amazing teacher and I never thought I’d be able to make a beautiful glass flower to take back from my trip!
