My wife and I were looking for an activity to do after the museum's closed. We are The parting type and don't drink so it limits the options. I saw this tour and thought it looked interesting so we signed up.
Trevor was awesome! He was very engaging, told great stories and allowed you to learn a little bit of history and a fun way. The tour is listed as 1.5 hours and we finished at a little over that time. He had an iPad where he could show pictures of the people he was talking about and that helped you visualize some of the stories a bit better.
Hopefully people can understand that with the government shutdown, there's still lots of great things to do in the city and this is one of them.
I love the fact that I have a little bit of hearing loss for my younger days of listening to the radio too loud and I was able to hear Trevor perfectly. In a city where the surroundings can be a little bit loud, having a tour guide that is loud enough for the person in the back row to hear is hard and Trevor checks that box.
If you have a chance to go on a tour with Trevor, take it. You won't be disappointed.

Ingeborg was PHENOMENAL!! So fun with a great sense of humor and immense historical knowledge (gory and sordid anecdotes included)! I have done many DC walking tours over the years, but this one is my favorite of all. Huge recommend!!
