What You'll Get
Grape juice magically transforms into wine in the same way milk becomes cheese and a 1972 Dodge Dart becomes an even older 1972 Dodge Dart. Tipple the tasty transformation with today's Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of bottled wine and accessories at Wine Cellar of Wisconsin in Elm Grove.
Wine Cellar of Wisconsin is a family-owned shop that strives to provide award-winning wines and superb customer service. A few recent best-selling wines include the Stanley Lambert Pristine Chardonnay ($7.99), which is free of oak and features a bright, crisp finish that's versatile enough to sip by itself or pair with light dishes or the ultra-light dishes of astronauts. With grapes selected from grandfatherly vines planted more than 50 years ago, the Van Ruiten Old Vine Zinfandel is a robust red that offers hints of berries with aromas of coffee, cedar, and anise ($14.99). Sniff and sip your way through a bottle of California Karma Cabernet Sauvignon ($11.99), and you'll be blessed with a medium-full body wine dancing with spicy and fruity aromas that expand palette horizons clean through the occipital region. Wine Cellar of Wisconsin also offers wine-tasting events; check the event schedule for more information.
