Staff is friendly and approachable. I felt very welcomed on my first day. Both the instructor and other participants were patient and took the time to ensure I was properly performing the movements. I definitely recommend Zen MMA to anyone wanting to try BJJ whether you're a beginner or advanced. Looking forward to many more visits.

David is a great instructor; explains everything very well and takes time to correct you. Students are all friendly and helpful. Mats are clean most of the time. Had lots of fun. Will be back soon.

Aiming to stimulate and foster a healthy mind, body, and spirit, the instructors at Zen Mixed Martial Arts lead groups during a huge variety of classes for all ages and skill levels. Among the styles of martial arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu stands out—the proven self-defense system teaches smaller, weaker opponents to fend off larger assailants using locks and hold rather than strikes and strongly-worded body language. Martial arts after school program engages students in a fun learning environment to inspire them to become intellectually vibrant, compassionate and responsible citizens. After school students will receive a healthy snack each day Complete their homework Participate in 3 to 5 martial arts classes a week The program also includes full daycare on PA days for all schools and after school care on snow days (transportation on snow days is dependent on the school)
