The space was easy to find, but unfortunately the original teacher was on maternity leave so a friend was substituting. She was a great dancer, but not so much a class instructor. She just started the class, no instructions before and none during. Most of us in the class seamed new so we had no clue. I just winged it and got a good work out regardless. So so experience.

Fun class! Went with some friends and had a great time! The instructor was energetic and very welcoming. Will definitely go again!!

The instructor was fantastic. Great energy and really got the class involved and smiling on a Saturday morning.
The studio as a whole was very nice. It looks like a formal dance studio.
What I did not like was that the class was in a smaller room off from the main ballroom, and the room was not the right size for the number of participants. It was incredibly cramped and difficult to dance without hitting someone. I am usually pretty flexible and can make a situation like this work, however the second issue was that the room was incredibly hot and stifling. There was no air conditioning and windows were not able to be opened. They kept the door closed. There was one small fan in one corner of the room but this only helped the people standing immediately in front of it. It got so hot and muggy the mirrors fogged up. It can feel a bit claustrophobic.
My recommendation to Zumba Firecracker is to allow the class to be held in the larger room to appropriately accommodate the number of participants or cut down the participant size.
I loved the instructor but I am considering asking for a refund as I just can't put myself in that situation 4 more times.

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
I believe being sexy is mental rather than physical therefore I’m a huge advocate for self-acceptance, confidence and feeling comfortable with your body. Plus, I offer 9 classes a week and several classes a day to fit your schedule, lifestyle and budget. I don't see this as a job but as my passion.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
At parties I would be the first one on the dance floor, always motivating & encourage the shy ones to let loose. So you see, I already have the experience under my belt. The only difference is now I get paid to do what I’m good at and what I LOVE. My upbeat playlist also does the trick.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Dancing has always been my passion, and staying fit has become part of my lifestyle. Zumba allows you to be fit in the best way possible, by dancing and having fun at the same time!
What do you love most about your job?
Being able to dance & socialize. The social aspect of teaching Zumba and building relationships with students is incredible. Making people feel better about themselves is a very rewarding experience. But the best part about my job, is when I see all the smiling faces at the end of each class!
