Additional Terms and Conditions for Rom-Com-Inspired Getaway Deals

When you purchase a deal referring to these terms, you are agreeing to these terms. 

All travel arrangements must be made through the Groupon Concierge.  Certain restrictions and blackout dates may apply. All trip details not specified in these terms or the deal page will be determined at Groupon’s sole and absolute discretion.  All expenses not specifically mentioned herein, are not included as part of the trip package, and are solely the purchaser’s responsibility, including, but not limited to: hotel taxes, additional ground transportation at the Trip purchaser’s destination(s), travel insurance, room service, bag check fees, parking fees, laundry service, food, alcoholic beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, telephone calls, tips, gratuities and service charges. The trip purchaser may be required to provide a credit card at the time of hotel check-in.   Groupon Bucks will only be credited to the verified purchaser’s Groupon accounts, except at Groupon’s sole and absolute discretion. 

The trip is non-transferable, with no cash redemptions, equivalents or substitutions except at Groupon’s sole and absolute discretion.  Groupon is not responsible for and the purchaser will not receive the difference, if any, between the actual value of the trip at the time of award and the stated value of the trip on the deal page. The actual retail value of the trip may vary depending on the point of departure, travel dates and fare/rate fluctuations.  If the actual value of the trip is less than the stated value on the deal page, the difference will not be awarded.    

Once a travel companion is selected, he/she may not be substituted, except at Groupon's sole and absolute discretion.  The purchaser and his or her travel companion must possess all required travel documents, including visas and valid passports, if and as applicable.  It is the responsibility of the purchaser and the travel companion to provide proper documentation (including government-issued picture identification. Airline tickets are non-refundable/non-transferable and are not valid for upgrades and/or frequent flyer miles.  Travel must be booked at least two (2) weeks prior to travel.   All airline tickets are subject to flight variation, work stoppages, and schedule or route changes.  Groupon reserves the right to structure travel routes and select hotels at its sole and absolute discretion. The round-trip air transportation element for the trip begins and ends at the point of departure.  The trip is subject to seat and hotel availability, as well as Groupon’s terms and conditions generally applicable thereto.   If in the judgment of Groupon air travel is not required due to the purchaser's proximity to the trip location, ground transportation will be substituted for roundtrip air travel at Groupon's sole and absolute discretion. 

The trip is being sold “AS IS” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). Groupon shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions whatsoever by the air carriers, hotels, venue operators, transportation companies, trip providers or any other persons providing any trip-related services or accommodations.  Groupon is not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay or ground transportation delay.  No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any transportation or other trip element except at the sole and absolute discretion of Groupon.
