Sessions generally last for 20 minutes. After your portraits are taken, it will take about 30 minutes to review and prepare your selections.
One outfit change is allowed per session.
Refunds on portrait sheets can be made within 30 days of the purchase. However, digital images cannot be returned once they have been taken out of the studio.
Studio hours vary by location.
We typically take around 12-18 shots but this may vary depending on the number of people in the photo session.
Most studios can accommodate up to 6 people, but can vary by location. Please contact your local to studio to confirm.
Your order will be prepared and ready to take home the same day, usually about 30 minutes after your session with exception of 16”x20” print which may need to be shipped to your home.

We have a variety of props and backdrops. Contact your local studio to confirm what props and backdrops are available. We also encourage you to bring items from home, to personalize your portraits.
We welcome all walk-ins, but recommend scheduling an appointment.
You can purchase digital images of your session on a high-resolution CD. This includes the copyright for the images. Digital images/CDs are not refundable.
This offer is valid at any Picture People studio nationwide. You can find the closest location to you on our website here: http://www.picturepeople.com/locations Once you select your location, you can also book your appointment online.
Yes, you can still purchase this if you've used another Groupon with Picture People in the past. Unfortunately, once your Groupon is expired, you can no longer use it for the promotional value but you can always use your expired Groupon as a credit towards your in-studio purchase for the amount you paid for it.
The Groupon offer cannot be used in combination with this or any other offer.
The package does not include tonal enhancements but you can add them for an additional charge.
Unfortunately, we cannot extend the Groupon offer. The only extension we allow is if you make your appointment before the expiration date and schedule your session within 1 month. For example, you could make your appointment on 5/1 and schedule it for 6/1.
Portraits are printed while you wait.
You can find and print your Groupons by logging into your account at http://groupon.com. Once you are signed in, place your cursor over your name at the top right of the screen and click "My Groupons" in the drop down menu that appears. If the Groupon you are trying to print was purchased as a gift, it will be in "My Gifts". After you’ve reached that page, click “Print” or “Print All” to download the PDF of the Groupon(s) to your computer. Once that file opens, you can print it like you would any document.
Each photo session lasts around 20 minutes. We try to have the entire process last about an hour, from the time you check-in until the time you receive your portraits. Sometimes appointments on the weekends take a little longer due to increased volume of sessions.
