Playing in the snow is a powerful experience because every time you tread on a fallen snowflake you're making a commentary on how society smashes down any expressions of individuality. Go with the snow with this Groupon.
$89 for a Three-Hour Snowmobile Tour ($189 Value)
At the start of the tour, groups head into the valley and climb aboard late-model snowmobiles. Guides then lead the way as adventurers zip over powdered landscapes, passing frozen waterfalls and an old trapper’s cabin. Eventually, snowmobilers climb to 8,000 feet, where they can drink in majestic views of the Rocky Mountains. Guides supply all the necessities, including boots, suits, helmets, snacks, and drinks. Awesome All Season Adventures' tour guides also have experience in CPR and first aid.
Awesome All Season Adventures
At sunset, a group of ATVs tours the rolling foothills around the Rocky Mountains. They speed down dirt paths and past towering evergreen trees until they finally reach a particularly scenic spot, where forests stretch to the horizon and mountain peaks kiss the sky. The sun drops lower and spills its warm rays across the mountains, setting them alight with red and orange hues. These twilight ATV tours are just one of the ways Awesome All Season Adventures lets people experience the great outdoors.
The company’s ziplines accelerate adventures to speeds of up to 70 kilometres per hour across forests and over Kicking Horse River, with starting platforms that tower up to 40 metres high. And in winter—when a thick blanket of snow covers the Rockies—the guides trade in their ATVs and ziplines for snowmobiles and snowball cannons. Kicking up powder in their wake, these powerful vehicles snake across winter terrain to let groups see waterfalls frozen with ice and mighty evergreens caked in snow.

“It was amazing! I bought the ticket because I'm scared of heights (not deathly afraid, just a good healthy fear) and it was such a nice comfortable way to be introduced to zip lining. I would recommend this for beginners. And it's a quick stop just off the highway where you'd always want to stop to stretch through the mountains.. the air and view! The staff was great , told us a place to stop on the way back to Calgary. It was a place neither my husband or I have ever been and it was spectacular views! Thanks groupon I would haven't been able to experience that so soon. I would have put it off! Lol The map on groupon takes you to golden it is actually 26 km east of Golden BC. Please fix because it is the longest 26km in Canada! ”
