What began as a nine-hole course transformed when Deer Run Golf Course sprouted a back nine in 2002 and, along with it, inherited a diverse landscape of riverside terrain brimming with marshes, waterfalls, and extreme elevation changes. The new batch of holes extended the total yardage to 6,120 from the back tees, a challenging endeavour that encompasses both wide-open, forgiving fairways on the front nine and tree-lined, water-laden stretches on the back nine.
