For more than four decades, the optometrists and lens sculptors at Visions of Manhasset have cared for eyes at the same office where they’re based today. The team specializes in hard-to-fit contacts, though their walls also show off frames by Oliver Peoples, Gucci, Brooks Brothers, and Nine West. Technicians complete them with lenses made in an onsite lab. Before their prescription is filled, patients—even those who can see little without their specs—can check out how they look in different frames using a high-tech Smart Mirror, a digitally enhanced device that takes photos of try-on sessions from various angles and with lenses' laser-shooting function on or off.
