Is there any states that are excluded from this deal? I have seen NY being excluded from Vista Deals before

Elaine M.

Is this only for printed products, or can it be used to pay website hosting fees?

Gloria W.
It did not say which locations were participating, and I wanted the Zachary one, but only the Greenwell and Praireville were listed.

They should have said not all locations are
participating, and not redeemable in Zachary.

Bo L.

Do we have to use $50 in one order or we can split it to several orders?

colleen O.

Per the ad… "$50 credit at VISTAPRINT. This credit must be used in its entirety in one purchase.

Note that although this is listed under Groupon Baton Rouge, it can be purchased and used by anyone."

it’s an online store. Did any of you even read it.

i couldn’t even order anything because the website isn’t working right.

aaron a.

i had to call and shipping is not included. so spend 50 on there products

Lauren L.

Where do you enter the code? I went all the way to confirm my payment (total w/o the -$50) and did not see anything.

Suzanne G.

Colleen O this is a board to help each other not to be rude.

Yes I read the fine print but vista’s fine print normally says no shipping to NY. And I have gotten groupons before that leave out some of the fine print (not intentionally)

Jill K.

I am also looking for the place to enter the code and have been unable to find it. Has anyone successfully used this yet?

Lauren L.

Jill, I emailed them. This is their response…….

Lauren. Our apologies for the frustrations. If you dial 866.614.8004, our Customer Service team will be able to help resolve this issue for you.

Sure wish they would have worked out the details prior to now.

Jill K.

Thanks so much, Lauren. How annoying to have to call! They are going to get flooded with calls.

On behalf of Vistaprint, we apologize for the confusion. To clarify, the $50 for $10 only applies to products, and cannot be shipped to NY/NC/outside of the US. My understanding is that you all received a link to the Vistaprint website – unfortunately you cannot redeem through this main link (coupon code box is not enabled). Groupon will be sending out the correct link shortly. Sorry for the delay, but thank you for your patience! – Vistaprint team

colleen O.

Suzanne G – then wake up!

Jill K.

Good lord…it’s still not working for me. I clicked through the new email link from Groupon, and although there is a message at the top of the vistaprint screen that says to apply your groupon by clicking “applying a coupon” under “select payment method,” there still isn’t any box that says, “applying a coupon.”

Did the email link work for anyone else? What am I missing here?

@Jill K – the box will show as of midnight tonight

It is absolutely reprehensible that the “new” link provided has prices that way higher than those on the actual website. A blatant case of bait and switch if I ever saw one

brian t.

Colleen O. – Ahem, take your own advice, and read the previous comment per Lisa before making your snappy “wake up” comments!

Ranga

There’s still no place to enter the coupon code. This is frustrating.

Lisa P.

@Tamara – the Groupon deal is 80% off, plus link provided gives an additional 30% off site-wide
@Ranga – please see note to Jill above – accessible by midnight tonight (3/3)

Jill K.

Well, now there’s a coupon box, but it won’t recognize the Promotional Code printed at the bottom of the Groupon OR even the Groupon number itself. I’m regretting having purchased this!

brian t.

Hi, does anyone know where to locate the link that gives an additional 30 % off because the prices on products went up when i went to check out today? Thanks

Jill K.

Okay, finally got it to work by cutting and pasting from the actual Groupon. It didn’t like when I keyed in the code myself for some reason. Anyway, in adding the code, the shipping went from around $7 to around $13. Sigh.

Joan M.

@Lisa – yes, the Groupon is discounted, but the numbers just don’t stack up. IMHO to switch the prices of items by switching the Vistaprint site is still cheating, in spirit if not legally. Here are just two examples from things I had planned on re-ordering: business cards w/G = 13.99(s/h) w/o G =3.99(s/h) Address labels w/G 5.49 w/o G 1.49 I was taught to always show my work – so here is how the math looks: With the new site, the $50 Groupon will get me 2500 business cards for a total of 14.99 which works out to 0.006 each (including the Groupon cost). From the regular site the cost those same cards would cost $10 (Groupon cost) which works out to $0.004 each PLUS I could buy 2 note pads and 280 address labels to fully use the Groupon. Sorry – that’s not my idea of a deal. I expect sneaky tactics from Vista – it is after all part of their business model. I did not expect Groupon to aid & abet…even less to defend this sort of thing.

Jill K.

I don’t think I will buy from vistaprint again. Different prices three different days and all this hassle to use the groupon.

brian t.

After taking advantage of the supposed great deal, incidentally, nothing has been great. Prior to today, the site had no place to enter the groupon code. As of today, the promo claiming that if you spend 25 dollars or more you receive free shipping is non-existent. I had to contact a customer service rep to be refunded for yet another vista print non-working promo. Last but certainly not least, the prices on products previously in my cart from one day prior shot up.

syi91601

Are these bait and switch prices still happening? I don’t know what the shipping is going to be but the prices looked pretty normal when I was browsing there a bit ago.

I still can’t get it to take my coupon code. Guess I’ll have to call. How annoying!

This is total B.S.! My shipping was going to be $14 and after I put in my groupon code it went up to $22! I can’t believe groupon would do business with such a shady company.

Jim W.

Yep. It’s FTD part II. I had an order worked up that was $85 and some change. I linked into that order from the Groupon PDF and my order total jumped to $120 and some change. The entire $40 was added back into the costs of things.

Bo L.

how could we return this cheating groupon? I want my $10 back.

Joan M.

It is real easy – just call customer service. I got my refund with no problems. I am not sure Groupon knew how vista print does business…at least that is what I am choosing to believe. If Groupon has another Vistaprint offer – then they should know better.

Jim W.

From the actual deal page is this line:
“This Groupon is valid for any item on the website, including sale items. “
That line right there says that I can use my Groupon with any sale or deal they are running.

Yet look what changed when I received my PDF at the conclusion of the deal:
“Universal Fine Print:
Not valid for cash back (unless required by law). Must use in one visit.
Doesn’t cover tax or gratuity. Can’t be combined with other offers. “

The terms and conditions of the sale changed after we purchased our Groupons.

Gary T.
We know that there are some problems and concerns with the VistaPrint deal you purchased through us and we wanted to address them with you. Specifically, some of you noticed discrepancies between the discounts on the original link for the deal versus the revised link we provided on the Groupon redemption site. Vistaprint is dedicated to satisfying everyone who purchased this deal and as a result increased the discount on the Groupon redemption page, which is now 50% off every item (this is on the price before your Groupon is applied). We hope that combining this discount with the $10 for $50 that you received with your Groupon will exceed your expectations. If you are unhappy with this solution or if you’ve discovered there is a particular item you’d prefer to purchase not using a Groupon, please contact us and we’d be happy to issue you a refund. We apologize for the difficulty and frustration this may have caused. I hope this solution is satisfactory—if you are still having any problems with this deal, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

Gary T.

Just to let everyone know, this was the worst purchase I’ve ever made. I got my package today. Of course I stupidly ordered before they came out with the 50% off items because I needed it quickly. So guess I’m out of luck there. I got my package today. I was charged $21 for shipping (was $14 before groupon code) and this box does not weigh more than a pound! I ordered the slowest, cheapest shipping option by the way. One of my items is missing and they didn’t even include a packing slip with the order. This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with.

Gary T.

Hi, Tanya:

Really sorry to hear about this. Please contact support@groupon.com and we’ll be happy to help.

Gary T
support@groupon.com

Yes I have done that. No real help. I also contacted vistaprint and they say they are not responsible for the prices. Just frustrating when all I wanted to spend was $10 and I ended up spending $32.

Menachem M.

And here is my Groupon-Vistaprint story:

I planned to order items in the exact amount of my $50 coupon. Then I saw the promotion on the order page: “FREE shipping when you spend an additional $25 beyond your coupon code value”. So I want ahead and added some $25 (the shipping would have been more than that). But the free shipping did not appear.

I contacted Vistaprint, and here is the brilliant response, by agent Sachel Walker:

“The promotion does say that you will get free shipping once you pay an addtional $25 beyond your coupon value, the real interpretation is that you pay $75 in total on your order after the coupong is applied for you to qualify for the free shipping”.

Menachem M.

And here is Groupon’s response (which of course contradicts Vistaprint response…):

<<Sorry for the confusion, but this Groupon is not valid with other offers as listed in the Fine Print section of the deal: “Limit 1 per person. Must create or use Vista print account. Must use in 1 visit. Tax and shipping not included. Not valid with other offers.”

That offer might be valid with other coupons that they list on their site, but unfortunately not with Gorupon. Please let me know if you have any other questions! >>

So, they want me to believe that the promotion which appeared in the special Groupon-Vistaprint website, and which specificallly mentioned the coupon, was really referring to other coupons and not to the Groupon one.

What a scam!

Menachem M.

Good news – Vistaprint refunded the shipping charges.
