Online Booking - Round of Golf at San Carlos Golf Club
One of southwest Florida's most established golf venues, San Carlos Golf Club offers an enjoyable par-71 course with plenty of character and fun holes. Designed by Jon E. Connor and Dave Fleming, the course, which opened in 1971, can be stretched to just under 6,500 yards. There are three other sets of tees, starting at around 4,500 yards, so it's very playable for all levels of golfers. The semi private club was actually purchased by local golfers in 1981, so it has a long history of serving the community. It's a traditional layout with strategically placed bunkers, palm trees, and water that comes into play on several holes. A large lake, for example, borders the entire ride side of the par-4 18th, plus there's a smaller lake on the left side. Golfers will have to avoid part of the smaller lake on the par-3 17th. The no. 1 handicap hole is the 427-yard, par-4 seventh. It's a 90-degree dogleg left, which means the tee shot has to be placed perfectly to have a shot at the green. Besides the golf course, San Carlos Golf Club also offers an aqua range as well as a pitching and chipping area, and practice putting green. Golfers looking to improve their game can book individual lessons with the club's very experienced teaching staff. There's a well-stocked golf shop in the clubhouse. And the club's bar and grill offers a full liquor bar with snacks, sandwiches, hot dogs and drinks.
