Ziplines originally were invented for just two functions: sneaking hamburgers over the Berlin Wall and zazzing up presidential entrances to State of the Union addresses.
$49 for an Aerial Adventure Park Outing and Brewery Tour ($100 Value)
During 2.5-hour weekend play days, visitors climb up a 50-foot cargo net and enter a 15-challenge aerial adventure course, where various elements—from tightropes to ziplines—test their courage, stamina, and balance. Once back on solid ground, the group heads to the Redhook brewery for a one-hour tour of the mysterious process behind bottling beer without first unscrewing the cap.
Until Labor Day, the course and tour are available Friday–Sunday for the following times:
- 9 a.m.–11:30 a.m. with a noon tour
- 11:30 a.m.–2 p.m. with a 2 p.m. or 3 p.m. tour
- 2 p.m.–4:30 p.m. with a 5 p.m. tour
- 4:30 p.m.–7 p.m. with no tour
At its core, the Adventure Park at Redhook is a "jungle gym built for adventurers." But more than that, it provides visitors with an escape from the everyday drudgery of stuffy offices, boring paperwork, and tedious leg-walking. For the park’s creators, the lush Woodinville Wine Country that stretches out around the park is the office. They’re a band of adventurers themselves, and they designed Adventura as a way for others to experience the growth, laughter, and connections that seem to bloom naturally outdoors in the newly expanded facility.
Of course, with the park typically booked 21 days in advance, visitors can be found leaping from decks, balancing precariously on cables 50 feet off the ground, or scaling cargo nets March through November.
