As versatile as a good sweater vest, rope can be used to lasso stray alpacas, hold up pants, and prove Maniac Magee's impressive knot-untying skills. Explore this miracle cord's myriad functions with today's Groupon: for $49, you get a two-and-a-half hour ropes challenge course with a zipline experience and a tour of Redhook Brewery from Adventura, in Woodinville wine country (a $108 value). This Groupon is only valid Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays through October 23, 2011.
Adventura tosses once-sedentary folks into a bracing outdoor excursion, testing physical strength, pushing mental barriers, and learning important human/rope communication skills. Attendees clamber up a 50-foot-tall climbing facility, boasting 15 types of cable-bound cross-sections and a rousing zipline exit. The towering spread of safe, ropy undertakings is normally a centerpiece in corporate team-building exercises, but this Groupon lets friends, families, and adventure-seeking loners harness its wellness-enforcing powers. A continuous belay system provides an invigorating means of traversal between the aerial attractions.
After the enriching rope adventure ends, climbers rest their opposable thumbs during an informative one-hour tour of Redhook Brewery, tasting up to five samples of the distillery’s crafty microbrews in the process. Underage guests are welcome to come along for the history lesson and the complimentary souvenir tasting glass. Hungry tourers can sate climbing-wrought appetites at the brewery’s attached eatery, Forecaster's Pub, which pairs pub-style burgers with limited-run suds, or sate appetites on a picnic amidst the verdant, visitor-friendly countryside.
Reservations are required and based on availability. Weight limit for the challenge course is 260 pounds.

About Adventura, LLC.
At its core, the Adventure Park is a "giant jungle gym built for adventurers." But more than that, it provides visitors with an escape from the everyday drudgery of stuffy offices, boring paperwork, and tedious leg-walking. For the park’s creators, the lush Woodinville Wine Country that stretches out around the park is the office. They’re a band of adventurers themselves, and they designed Adventura as a way for others to experience the growth, laughter, and connections that seem to bloom naturally outdoors. Visitors can be found leaping from decks, balancing precariously on cables 50 feet off the ground, or scaling cargo nets April through October.
