What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Axe Capoeira Atlanta was created under the supervision of world renowned Capoeira Master, Mestre Barrão. Led by his daughter, Graduada Carnauba, Axe Capoeira Atlanta is dedicated to the celebration of Brazilian culture in Atlanta as a means of developing self-expression and personal identity.

What do you love most about your job?
Connecting people to each other in a way that only Capoeira can. Capoeiristas (capoeira practitioners) are often well rounded people from a variety of different ethnic backgrounds. In the Capoeira academy we are able to share different cultures, philosophies and alternative views on the world.
