About Barre Bootcamp with Gina Thomas

After earning a degree in theater and dance at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Gina Thomas embarked on a nearly 30-year semi-professional career as a dancer. More than a decade of that time has been spent introducing children and adults to the art form and dispelling their misconceptions about the difficulty of dance. Today, she channels her dance experience into a fitness regimen: Barre Bootcamp. In one-hour sessions, the fitness program sends clients bounding back and forth between the ballet bar, where they stretch and tone lean muscles, and calorie-burning cardio workouts. With its focus on ballet technique, the fitness program may also help clients improve posture and balance.
