About Basheer Abdullah - Elite Personal Trainer

To give potential clients an idea of his coaching chops, Basheer Abdullah need only tell the story of Claressa Shields. Shields was the first American woman to win an Olympic gold medal for boxing in 2012 and Basheer coached the woman's boxing team that year. In fact, he has served as an Olympic coach four times in total, and two of those tours have resulted in gold medals.

But people of all fitness levels can benefit from Basheer's impressive credentials, whether they want to lose weight or simply get healthier. He travels to homes, private gyms, and neighborhood parks to lead single students as well as small groups through workouts inspired by boxing techniques. And, though being trained by an Olympic coach could sound daunting to some, he prefers not to intimidate his clients, motivating them with positivity and support and not by shouting or sewing them up inside punching bags.
