What You'll Get
A strong man wrestles you to the ground to show off; a stronger man boosts your self-esteem and then accidentally breaks three of your ribs with a supportive hug. Learn the tenets of both strength and community with today's Groupon: for $30, you get six boot camp classes from Body & Soul Fitness in Ceres (a $60 value).
Body & Soul Fitness supports individuals looking to reshape their physiques and amp up overall health with stamina-building boot camp classes. Experienced instructors challenge campers with military-style drills designed to test physical limits, CrossFit-based drills intended to cause muscle confusion, and cordless drills for extreme carpentry relays. Morning and evening sessions encourage consistent participation throughout the week by changing up the format for each class. Circuit and weight training form the camp’s super-pumped backbone, with boxing, outdoor cardio, and miscellaneous fitness activities thrown in to keep routines from becoming rote. Each participant can push individual boundaries during the sessions, which are scaled in intensity to match campers' abilities. On the first Saturday morning each month, fitness huddles break at a local park, varying the environment so that medicine-ball gym skills can parlay into boulder-hurling survival tactics, and vice-versa.

About Body & Soul Fitness
It’s easy to see the imprint of Body & Soul Fitness founder Jade Reyes on his studio’s class curriculum. His specialty in dance aerobics is displayed in exotic-dance and Latin-dance-inspired Zumba classes. And his training in kickboxing informs not only classes in the same discipline, but also body-combat classes, which feature high- and low-impact moves to challenge exercisers of all fitness levels. He also specializes in spinning and knows much about massage therapy and relaxation, which explains why yoga is on the schedule and drinking Mountain Dew and screaming Van Halen lyrics is not.
