From the name, you might think that Boogiezone Utopia is a place where dancers unite to bring about a perfect society of creative movement. You'd almost be right—but you'd be thinking too small. In fact, the studio encompasses more than just dance, and offers something for creative types in technical fields as well.

The flagship of it all, Boogiezone Academy, comprises eight programs that include all aspects of the performing arts world. While many of them, including the Boogiezone Juniors and Boogiezone for Beginners classes, focus largely on dance, others cover theatrical lighting and sound and makeup and hair design. They even lead a development program for young directors. By uniting all of these elements under one curriculum, Boogiezone Utopia emphasizes the community aspect of performance, and reminds students that none of them are in this thing alone.

They can offer such a wide-ranging curriculum thanks to a world-class faculty, which includes choreographers who have worked with Omarian and Pharrell Williams, world champion belly-dancers, and principal dancers of internationally renowned ballet companies. Together, the teachers and students strive to live by the philosophy that, while nobody is perfect, everybody can become the best possible version of themselves.
