About Bulkley Valley Recreation Centre
Since 1990, the Bulkley Valley Regional Pool & Recreation Centre has helped area residents stay fit and have fun. With a focus on carving out a family-friendly space, it hosts group activities ranging from summer camps to swimming lessons and maintains a variety of facilities, including:
- The Bulkley Valley pool, encompassing a 25-meter lap pool, leisure pool with fountains, kiddie pool, hot tub, and sauna
- A fitness room filled with treadmills, an elliptical, stationary bikes, a stair climber, free weights, Swissballs, and BOSU balls
- A 22-foot climbing wall outfitted with 11 ropes and a bouldering cave, with different routes for climbers of all ages and skill levels
- Racquet courts that visitors can reserve for 1 hour or 45 minutes for squash, racquetball, and wallyball
