Chicago Bouldering Collective invites climbers of every skill level into its low-altitude paradise. Climbers won't need any special equipment here—no ropes, harnesses, or belay gear. A bouldering-only gym, the highest they'll ever reach is 15 feet. Beginners learn from more experienced members with no need for classes, and communal shoes are provided at no charge. Between climbs, guests crash out on the pads, or in the seating area just beyond the climbing floor. To further push their limits, climbers can take advantage of CBC's training area, which features campus boards, rings, and ropes to develop strength and coordination.
