Each summer brings with it outdoor sports, lemonade sales, and annual khaki-shorts conventions. Celebrate the sun in style with today's Groupon to Chicopee Tube Park. Choose from the following options:
• For $4, you get admission to Tubing Night, for any two hours from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on August 12, August 26, or September 2 (an $8 value).
• For $9, you get a zip-line orientation package (an $18 value).
• For $10, you get a two-hour pass, excluding zip lines (a $20 value).
• For $45, you get an all-access season pass, including two zip-line rides per day, valid until Thanksgiving weekend (a $95 value).
Chicopee Tube Park's trained staff and summer attractions enable thrill seekers of all ages to bounce, slide, glide, and climb with special attention paid to safety and care. During Tubing Nights, park-goers spend an hour taking unlimited rides down straight and curved waterless tube paths. Tubers sit back in inflatable circles and then slide down more than 150 metres of dry gliding mats designed to emulate snow—all while a 2,500-square-foot outdoor viewing deck gives parents the opportunity to watch their wee ones from above without having to imbibe helium martinis. Visitors can stick around for the free movie night beginning at dusk, streaming animated feature films suitable for the whole family. Cloud envy vanishes during the zip-line orientation package, which preps human zippers on the 80-metre Mini-Me line before testing the staying power of new haircuts on the more than 300-metre Pine Ridge line.
The two-hour pass splashes visitors with tubing and aerial options, including Chicopee's Eurobungy, a trampoline with specialized safety harnesses that allow up to four people to imagine themselves acing 25-foot slam dunks on the moon. Visitors can ascend the Spider Web or traverse the easily navigable horizontal ropes course. Season-pass holders soar above vistas on up to two zip-line rides per day and then continue their adventures on the park's other attractions. Meanwhile, Chicopee Tube Park's 9,200-square-foot chalet coddles visitors with air conditioning, free WiFi, and a café.
