Toy taught me in an Intro to Pole fitness class. She was very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. She demonstrated the movements in beginner friendly manner. She puts you at ease if you are nervous considering the sexual stigma that pole dancing carries. But it isn’t all sexy time. It tests your strength, coordination and technique. I would recommend Choice Training for your journey in Pole

If variety is the spice of life, then today’s Groupon is a well-seasoned smorgasbord of fitness fare. For $39, you’ll strengthen your sartorius, tone your tensor fascia latae, and work other obscure muscle groups with 12 group-fitness classes (usually $15 for drop-ins) and three pole-dancing or boot-camp classes ($20 each) at Choice Training, a brand-new exercise organization in Lewisville.

Choice Training lives up to its name, offering a buffet of body-improving classes. Angsty exercisers can sign up for golden-glove cardio, an intense 60 minutes to punching, swinging, and swatting out frustrations. Choice also offers hip-hop, sculpting, yoga, and kickboxing courses from which to choose. The 12 classes included in this Groupon allow you to mix it up until you find the ideal sweat session to suit your needs.

In addition to your 12 group-fitness classes, you also get three specialty classes. The risqué moves you’ll master in Choice’s exotic fitness courses will really make your heart rate race. Try the Kandy Core workout to learn core-tightening frisky floor routines, or awaken your inner pop music video vixen with the Chocolate Chair-ries class. Choice Training also has muscle-toning pole-dancing classes. If you're shy about seductive sculpting, opt for three boot-camp sessions. Click here to see the October class schedule.

Group training can often be more motivational than working out alone. Make new friends by commiserating about difficult stretches or mutual sweatiness, or set secret goals to kick higher or ab crunchier than the stranger next to you.

Reviews

Choice Training is new so there aren’t many user reviews, but there is one review, and a promotional video on Citysearch. In testimonials on it's website, clients credit the workouts for weight loss and confidence boosts:

  • Choice showed me I could lose massive amounts of weight quickly, rev up my metabolism, be strong (55 standard pushups/25 knee assisted all in 2 mins), run in 90-degree heat and eat properly (no sugar/salt/red meat/ and low carbs). – Donice Rozzelle
  • VERY SATISFIED – Have really enjoyed getting my workout done early in the day. The price is great and I enjoyed the group. Love the variety, but that’s always been true with working out with you. THANKS! – Trina Davis

About Choice Training

Husband and wife duo Tabora and Toy Laster, owners of Choice Training Group Fitness, electrify the studio with their characteristic energy. Whether they're dressing up in hokey hula shirts to promote Zumba fitness parties or bringing in guest instructors to host self-defense sessions, the two aim to create a gym that feels like an inclusive club.

Newbies and old hats jump into a diverse set of classes, ranging from group fitness and boot camp, to pole-dancing sessions in the Kandy & Krome room, a mirror-lined, pole-bestrewn sanctuary for flirty fitness. Alongside high-energy cardio classes such as Belly Dance Fusion, Absolute Abs, or Zumba, the studio hosts bachelorette parties, couples massage sessions, and workshops on effective methods for releasing stress.
