What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Class A Fitness is a unique classes-only approach to fitness where the class changes daily allowing you to combine both strength & resistance training, with conditioning and cardio. We mix it up continually to challenge your body so you can see results. We use free weights, kettlebells, TRX, balls, bands and bars to build muscle and help you see changes in your body quickly. We do cardio kickboxing to burn an impressive number of calories while giving you an amazing core based workout. Saturdays are a “bootcamp” type metabolic workout. We incorporate moves for the entire body in workout.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
My hope when opening my own studio was to try to help people move away from the mindset of exercise as a way to keep their weight under control or pay for their eating "sins" and hopefully help them see it as a way to live a healthy, better life in a body they love. Exercise when done right is always challenging, but if we can make it something we look forward to with encouragement from others and by adding the social aspect to it, we can truly live the life we desire.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to help people discover things they are able to do that they never thought possible. Helping people lose weight, lose fat and inches is great; however seeing an increase in their strength, relief of someone’s pain, enhanced energy and vitality, less stress, improved relationships and a higher level of happiness is what I most LOVE about my job.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
When I hear that one of our members has been able to lose a significant amount of weight and also completely come off of blood pressure and cholesterol medications, these are the stories that most move me. Fitness is a way to keep our bodies young and healthy. Or when I hear that they are changing lives to impact others all because someone believed in them and gave them confidence and inner strength.
