Led by Corey Taylor and staff, a fitness expert with the Titleist Performance Institute, the Youth Fundamental Camp lays a strong foundation for kids’ athletic futures. From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday–Friday, training tykes improve running skills, agility, and balance through drills and romping games such as freeze tag. Indoor and outdoor activities foster poise-building coordination and body awareness, and practice with skills such as running, dribbling, dodging, and kicking comes in handy for a multitude of sporting lives.
Taylor and his staff give age-appropriate fundamentals instruction, with kids broken up into age groups of 6- to 9-year-olds and 10- to 13-year-olds. Classes are capped at 25 students, symbolically representing the sun's sidereal-rotation period and literally helping kids stay focused.
