What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

Craft and Cork is a DIY art studio offering a wide variety of instructor-led classes from painting, crafting, and jewelry making to pallet wood projects, home décor, paper and textiles. We take the time to understand what our clients are looking to achieve and to make them feel comfortable throughout the project. We encourage them to customize their craft so that they leave with an unforgettable experience and a truly unique project.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

Craft and Cork began as a paint and sip shop visiting locations around the city, including in-home and venue events. In serving our clients, Craft and Cork evolved into a full-blown DIY art studio with a large network of artists.

We love the technical and artistic challenges. Creating more than just artwork, we love being a part of a meaningful experience. To know that our client chose to spend their time with Craft and Cork is motivational for us in itself.

What do you love most about your job?

We love when someone brings in an inspiration project of something they pinned on Pinterest! All we need to know from that point is how many people, what day and time, and we do everything else! Similarly, we work with a multitude of corporate organizations, always customizing their team building projects.

The thing we most love about Craft and Cork is “the wows” and seeing our client's face when they see their final product. They can’t believe they did such a great job! This is especially true from our first-timers and our elderly guests.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

On more than one occasion at Craft and Cork, our clients have told us or taken to Facebook to tell their friends that they’ve had a wonderful experience, that our instructors make them feel at ease, and what an awesome environment the studio is – from our far out bathrooms to the custom-made décor all around.
