Thanks to Creative York, locals have spent the past quarter of a century appreciating (and creating) art in all its forms, from painting, to pottery, to stop-motion animation. The 501c3 non-profit arts organization began in 1990 as YorkArts with the goal of supporting local artists and making the arts accessible to the general public, and today it continues to spark imagination, creativity, and innovation in the community through its three art galleries, art classes for all ages, and several community outreach programs. Creative York has fun, exciting classes and events throughout the year for art lovers and artists of all skill levels, from ages 3-93.
