About Crossfit 954
Frustrated working in traditional gyms, Shondelle Solomon-Miles opened her own fitness spot, Synerg!ze, in 2006. Here, she led nutritional coaching and small-group personal training. Her approach to fitness focused on functional and body-weight exercises. Upon discovering that these were also central to CrossFit, Shondelle implemented the training methodology into her studio's fitness session. By 2011, they gym's exclusive offering was CrossFit's ever-changing workouts, and its name was changed to CrossFit 954.
