    Before participating in any of CrossFit Santa Barbara’s workouts, exercisers immerse themselves in the Basic Movements course, learning CrossFit techniques such as tire flips, pushups, and squats that they’ll utilize during future classes. Each one-hour Basic Movements course is held Monday–Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. CrossFit classes begin with a warm-up and mobility drills, followed by a run-through of skills before launching into the WOD, or Workout of the Day.
