Choose from Three Options
- $25 for a bike safety check ($50 value)
- $49 for a full bike tune-up ($129 value)
- $150 for a full bike overhaul plus 10% off all retail items ($300 value)
During the safety check, technicians will inspect all components of the bike to ensure that they are properly installed and fastened. They'll adjust braking and shifting systems as needed, and lubricate the drivetrain for quieter, smoother performance.
Tune-ups include lubrication of all moving parts and adjustments of the spokes, brakes, shifters, and the bottom bracket. All parts are checked and tensioned. The entire service takes about a half an hour. Additional labor charge added in the event that parts such as the headset or bottom bracket need replacing.
During full overhauls, the entire bike is dismantled, piece by piece, before parts are checked, cleaned, greased and put back together. The process takes between six and seven hours.
Cycle Dynamics Bike Shop
The owners of Cycle Dynamics opened their shop in an effort to reduce their carbon footprints and the carbon footprints of their neighbors—they also just really like to cycle. The staff lends an expert hand to bikes in need of a tune-up or a complete overhaul. They also shell out cycling-related products from brands such as Continental, Odyssey, Lizard Skins, and Redline.
