What You'll Get
Before ocean paddleboarding, thrill seekers were forced to sneak onto a rock-concert stage and leap board-first into waves of dancing humans. Ride waves to the ocean's soundtrack with today's Groupon to Dacane Surf Shop. Choose between the following options:
For $21, you get a full-day paddleboard rental (a $49.99 value) including car rack (a $5 value; a $54.99 total value).
For $24, you get a full-day surfboard rental including wetsuit (a $50 value) and car rack (a $5 value; a $55 total value).
Dacane Surf Shop supplies both the equipment and know-how to help previously landlocked explorers attain nautical mastery. Stand-up paddleboards and surfboards acquaint renters with a popular water workout for 24 hours, allowing time to explore the coastline or ask directions from native lobsters. Standing on an oversized board and enlisting the help of a trusty paddle, paddleboarders navigate their personal watercraft out into surly waves or hug the more placid coast. With a surfboard rental, customers slip into a hooded or non-hooded wetsuit, select personal watercraft ranging in length from 6'8" to 9'6", and then carve waves across Nova Scotia's coastline. All customers attach equipment to a loaned soft-rack, which secures boards atop cars or flying carpets. With numerous rides under their neoprene belts, paddleboarders can return to shore and peruse Dacane's well-stocked store for paddleboarding equipment and apparel.

About Dacane Surf Shop
Through trials and tribulations, Dacane Surf Shop owner Lance Moore has always strived to provide the best opportunities and gear for wave-tamers. Having hatched the shop's first incarnation in his mother's basement and moved on to locations where break-ins and robberies were rampant, he maintained his focus on learning his trade before finally settling in Halifax. Always looking to stay one step ahead of the sport, Lance and his team seek out the most cutting-edge surfing equipment available from reputable designers such as Channel Islands, Santa Cruz, and Watercooled. His instructors customize surf camps and lessons to help mould burgeoning aquanauts of all ages and skill levels, and hip threads from the likes of Quiksilver and Billabong keep them looking the part. The surf shack also sets up adventurists with stand-up paddleboards, skim boards, body boards, and all the accessories needed to coast the whitecaps or add authenticity to an online dating profile.
