Really fun experience! Make sure if you're planning to go and you want the belay class, make a reservation first. They need to make sure they have an instructor for the time you plan on coming. There are some walls you can climb by yourself, and others that you need two people for. We spent about 3 hours there in total.

Great time today! The belay instructor was very nice and we had the walls to ourselves when we arrived at 2 pm. Nobody else has showed up by the time we left after 5 pm. We are both beginners and there were a ton of options available!

Experience itself was fun. My hubby and I got the belay lessons, and our kids did the rock climbing. Only one other family was there when we went. Instructor was very friendly; lesson was basic, and lasted about 10 minutes. Only reason I only gave it 3 stars for value is that the groupon is very deceiving. It was only $1 less than rhe regular price for belay less and day pass for 2, and my kids only lasted an hour, including belay lessons for 2, would have actually cost less than the Groupon. I'll go again, but not bother getting a groupon next time.

It was awesome. I love the experience, I’m terrified of heights and I felt like rock climbing really help me address that. The building is huge and the staff there is extremely friendly I was able to get a reservation for the same day. The instructor was very informative and I’m sorry I don’t remember his name but I would definitely recommend the location.

About Diamond Rock

At Diamond Rock, climbers of all abilities clamber over 3,000 square feet of textured, sculpted surfaces, challenging their bodies and minds to pull themselves ever higher. The terrain ranges from sloping slabs to vertical faces to difficult overhangs, taking climbers up to 37 feet above the ground. But they don't have to go it alone. Help comes in the form of private lessons and group classes taught by experienced instructors. In beginner belay-certification classes, adults and kids aged 15 and older can learn how to wear harnesses and communicate with a belay partner to ensure a safe climb. Because Diamond Rock is located within a gymnastics facility, classes for younger children bring more fun by combining tumbling and gymnastics with climbing adventures, just like a first date with Spiderman.
