Science and fashion are inversely proportionate; while many of science's greatest discoveries have been made by accident, many of fashion's greatest tragedies have been made on purpose. Learn about science's fortuitous finds with today's Groupon: for $35, you get a family membership (a $75 value) at Discovery Centre on Barrington Street.
Discovery Centre is a not-for-profit sanctuary of scientific exploration that employs hands-on experiences, live demonstrations and educational workshops to enthrall and educate children and bigger children. Like gym socks, exhibits and activities are constantly changed to keep returning proto-scientists excited about learning more. The current exhibit is PLAY (February–May), an interactive game-changer which carries the curious through well known clubhouse games magnified to person size, allowing visitors to experience the daily lives of dominoes and bowling pins. This Groupon is good for a regular, yearlong family membership.
