During this glass fusing session students will work with Dorothy Hafner, master glass artist, as they see all the steps in the glass fusing process, and learn glass cutting. As they explore the magic of color and light, each creates their own multi-colored glass panels. After class, instructors will fire each piece to fuse and form it. They are ready to take home in 5 days. These works of art add flare to any home or office and make wonderful gifts to friends and family. All tools and materials are provided. No experience necessary. Fusing is fun! Try it with a friend!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

I really enjoy sharing my art and craft with others and giving them the opportunity to see an assortment of my finished works as well as others in progress.

What do you love most about your job?

Dorothy Hafner is a leading American glass artist. Her works are in over 20 museum collections worldwide and published in over 60 books on Art, Craft, and Design. She enjoys teaching and sharing her craft with professionals and amateurs alike in her expansive SONO studio, minutes away from Norwalk’s exciting restaurant district. Guests to the studio can view her masterworks in progress and her changing gallery of finished works.
