Shuttlecocks whip from baseline to baseline on each of the eight Olympic-size courts inside Eastbay Badminton Association's indoor facility. Beneath the deep forest green polymer surface of each Robbins Flooring Systems court lies 11 millimeters of padding—there not to only protect joints against long-term wear-and-tear but also to absorb the shock of celebratory shuttlecock spikes. The club welcomes all levels of racket handler with membership packages and private training, as well as a pro shop stocked with equipment by Yonex, Wilson, and Carlton.
