Fencing at Enguardians teaches discipline, builds strength, and sharpens the mind while embedding a deep sense of respect for others. Although this is a sport with its roots in violence, it has evolved to become one of the safest sports around.

Approach without fear, at Enguardians we continue the traditions of centuries past in a safe environment with modern equipment and nationally certified coaches.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
For decades the Halifax Enguardians fencing club has been offering a wide range of instruction from "introduction to fencing" all the way to "competitive". Our focus has always been the development of the local fencing community.
What do you love most about your job?
Watching athletes develop from a point where they don't even know the basics into forces to be reckoned with. Providing the options of "just for fun" as well as "compete to win" and watching our athletes build confidence and grow as individuals.
