About The Old Bag Factory
The Old Bag Factory is literally that: an old factory that used to make everything from waterproof burlap sacks to Hershey's Kiss wrappers. Unfortunately, the bag company left town in 1982. Two years later, the building was purchased by local artists who began working to restore and convert it to a space to sell their wares. Today, the Old Bag Factory provides studio and retail space to carpenters, potters, print makers, and more. A historical gallery on the second floor showcases memorabilia and tools from the old factory days.
