About Escape Reality Games

Husband-and-wife duo Michael Katzman and Suzan Ponte love just about anything that beeps and flashes—robots, toys, games, and especially puzzles. At Escape Reality Games they get to bask in that passion with a selection of themed escape rooms. No matter which they enter, teams of 2–10 will have to exercise their logic muscles before the clock ticks away their 60 precious minutes. Though the time limits stay the same, no two rooms are alike, ensuring puzzlers can challenge themselves time and again. Read on to learn a little about the themes and in-jokes.

  • Corporate Spy Room: When your idea is stolen by a rival corporation, it's up to you to reacquire your plans. With just an hour to spare, you must sneak into the rival office, but there you find a few delightful twists: each of the three available rooms has its own style and references, including the Dunder-Mifflin edition for fans of The Office, the Veridian Dynamics edition for fans of Better Off Ted, and the Initech edition for fans of Office Space.

Other features at Escape Reality Games include the Puzzle Bar and Gaming Lounge where patrons can order everything from pizza to Indian food to pub food while playing Jackbox and other interactive games. Beer and wine are available here as well. At the Boutique High Tech Toy store, robots, drones, rave gear, LED, and other oddities are available to try before buying. There's also a private party room and new events are hosted every night. Past events have included improv theatre, cult movie showings, Geek School classes like origami and arduino programming, a robotics league, stand-up comedy, karaoke, and themed trivia.
