European Fitness Center first opened it's doors in the 1960s, and at 7,500 square feet, was one of the first and most advanced fitness clubs of its kind in the area. Since then, it has grown to 25,000 square feet and continues to offer cutting-edge equipment and amenities to its members. That includes a cardio theater area with TV-equipped treadmills and ellipticals, as well as ample free weights and weight machines designed to tone and strengthen specific muscles, such as the biceps or eyelids. European Fitness Center even features a studio space with spring-loaded flooring, which helps minimize joint strain as instructors lead aerobics, cardio kickboxing, and yoga classes throughout the week.

The fitness center's amenities also include an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, and sauna for visitors looking to unwind after a workout. In the salon area, staff members are on-hand to provide hair and nail treatments or help guests adopt a sun-kissed complexion in one of six available tanning beds. And, since working out can work up an appetite, an onsite restaurant indulges members with a healthful assortment of snacks and smoothies for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
