Like a Renaissance fair with an emerald twist, Celtic Faire transforms the Fairplex into a Celtic village full of music, dancing, food and tons of stuff to see and do -- just in time for St. Patrick's Day. Stroll through a medieval Irish castle, a traditional Celtic camp or an idyllic shire inspired by The Hobbit. Take in a live jousting match. Watch sheepherding demonstrations and learn about the different breeds of dogs involved. Research your name and discover your family's crest, tartan or motto. Don't miss the jousting demonstrations featuring skilled knights and horses (and their helpful squires) displaying awe-inspiring horsemanship skills. The grounds will be filled with the sound of live music, from bagpipers, Celtic musicians and rockers like The Young Dubliners. Don't forget to stop for a green beer and traditional Celtic eats when you're ready for a refuel.
