Great deal to try it out. It was near my house but I never got to trying it until I saw the Groupon. I am now a regular client. The only thing I've noticed is that with the Groupon deal, the classes get very crowded, so I'm hoping it dies out so that I can enjoy the classes more.
  • Combines strength training, stretching & more
  • More than 20 classes per week
  • Get in shape for summer

Perspiration gets mischievous when cooped up inside the body, acting out by drenching armpits on first dates and disguising itself as tears during job interviews. Release disgruntled body water with today's Groupon: for $18, you get two FitBar fitness classes at FitBar Studio in Newport Coast (a $48 value). This Groupon is valid for new clients only.

Smelting strength-training exercises, stretching, and hip-shaking, FitBar fitness classes incorporate a diversity of calisthenics designed to target the tush, thighs, abs, and arms. Each 60-minute class is packed with high-energy movement, including barre work and Pilates, making bodies sinewy and svelte for upcoming bikini bingo nights. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their own water bottles for hydration, hand towels for sweat absorption, and tightly gripped socks for containing impetuous pinky toes. The FitBar schedule sports more than 20 classes a week, for which reservations are required.

About FitBar

Ornate crown moldings, limestone floors, and marble surfaces aren't typical gym décor, and that's the point. An unparalleled attention to detail went into the design at Living Fitness, resulting in a space that pairs cutting-edge exercise equipment with the sort of service and surroundings one would typically see at a high-end resort. In the locker room, towering mirrors reflect custom wood cubbies, fresh Mascioni linens, and guests amping themselves up for group FitBarre classes and high-intensity Bikini Bootcamp. Curtains of textured lighting spill across the sprawling facility, which houses Keiser pneumatic strength-training machines, FreeMotion high-incline treadmills, and a sun-soaked Pilates studio. Tailored to each client's goals, Living Fitness's personal training combines traditional strength training with balance, core stabilization, and power exercises that begin with a complete fitness assessment and an optional Rocky movie night.
