Ehh Way too expensive for what you get. The food is just ok. The main restaurant was not even open. Fitchburg not a great area.

Unsafe and Poorly Handled Fire Alarm I recently stayed at Great Wolf Lodge on November 9, and I feel compelled to share how poorly the hotel handled a serious safety situation. Around 5 a.m., a fire alarm went off — not a drill, but a real alarm triggered by a smoke detector in the main tower.
What followed was complete disorganization and chaos. There were no clear instructions from staff, no designated meeting point outside, and no one taking charge to ensure guests were safe or accounted for. People were standing outside in confusion, unsure if it was real or a false alarm. To make matters worse, guests were allowed to reenter the building while the alarm was still sounding.
As a teacher who conducts monthly fire drills, I know exactly what effective safety procedures should look like — and this was the opposite. It was obvious that staff lacked training and that management was unprepared to handle an actual emergency.
When I reached out to management afterward, I received a lengthy email explaining that the alarm was genuine and that the fire department had responded. However, the response only confirmed my concern: the manager admitted that communication was limited and even suggested that I might not have received their follow-up message because I had opted out of texts. That excuse doesn’t hold up — I received every single promotional text during my stay (morning coffee deals, evening pizza specials, etc.), yet somehow, not the one text that actually mattered — the one about a potential fire.
This isn’t a simple oversight; it’s a major safety and communication failure. It shows a lack of training, leadership, and basic crisis management. I genuinely hope Great Wolf Lodge reviews their emergency procedures, retrains their staff, and rethinks their communication priorities before something worse happens.
This incident shows major gaps in staff preparedness and management oversight. Families deserve better safety standards and clearer communication in emergencies. Until I see that improvement, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

19 Per day parking! I didn't go because they charge 19 per day for parking. What a rip off! I hate the extra things that they try to get you for. Please!
