Save your money! I am compelled to share my review with prospective visitors to the Great Wolf Lodge. Unfortunately, the experience fell very short of expectations set by the brochures. The water park, touted as a highlight, was surprisingly small with limited attractions for children. Additional costs, such as $20 for small lockers to store essentials, added to the expense. The food was subpar, and the rooms in the kid-friendly cabins were overhyped. Long elevator lines contributed to stress, making this one of the most trying destinations for my husband and me to take our grandchildren. Unless crowds and overpriced amenities appeal to you, I would recommend exploring alternative options.

Fun, but expensive Water park is great fun! Food is awful, bring your own & eat in your room. The sofa bed is terrible! Do yourself a favor and pay more for 2 beds.

Dank, Dark, Completely Charmless Waste of Money (LOTS of money!) My partner and I stopped here on our way home from Denver, as we had planned on taking all the kids and grandkids for a visit this fall. We walked around this miserable dark dank warehouse (in hellish concrete/asphalt concrete jungle of commercial businesses just off the freeway) for about twenty minutes, and we couldn't get out of there fast enough -- into the fresh air and glorious sunshine. Just watch the "walkthrough" video on YT before you consider planning a visit there, and you'll see that the best thing to do at GWL is watch videos of anywhere else! Plus, some guy tried to sell us a Hilton timeshare as we ran for the door. NEVER!!!!!
